Gabrielle Pitchford's Voice Studio

I absolutely love her teaching style. She is very hands on and always looks for things that work specifically with each of her students. Ms. Pitchford makes sure we understand our music and our own voices, and if we don't she always tend to figure out another explanation that makes more sense to us. It's obvious that she really cares for her students because she pushes then to be the best that they can be. She is honest and direct, but in a good way. Even when we doubt ourselves she is always there to show us we can do it. Ms. Pitchford makes class fun and educational. She are an amazing teacher. 

Professor Pitchford has taught me so much over the past year. Her teaching style is very hands-on and active. She has a way of not only describing in great detail the science behind singing, but uses helpful gestures and analogies to promote healthy and free singing. I remember one time she told me that after her lessons she feels like she just went to the gym, because she is that engaged and enthusiastic. I can’t even explain how much Professor Pitchford has progressed my voice and knowledge of music over the past year, because it is so drastic. The thing that separates her from the rest is that she actually cares. To be able to get the best vocal training, the student has to feel comfortable and vulnerable with the teacher. Professor Pitchford takes the time to get to know everyone of her students and I can see how much she cares. I look up to her in so many ways and strive to be as great of a vocal teacher as her one day.
